眠る
【ねむる】

①【睡眠をとる】sleep(自),have a sleep;（眠り始める）fall asleep, go to sleep
*彼はどこでもよく眠れる　He can sleep well wherever he is.
*赤ん坊は母親のひざの上で眠っている　The baby is sleeping on its mother's lap.
*一晩ぐっすり眠れば気分がよくなるよ　Have a good night's sleep, and you'll be all right.
*私はいつも,ベットに横になるとすぐ眠ってしまう　I always ｢fall asleep [go to sleep] as soon as I lie on my bed.

③【活用されないでいる】
*地下に眠る財宝　treasure hidden underground
*その地域には豊富な地下資源が眠っているとされている　That area is said to have rich resources lying underground.((もう少し「眠る」のニュアンスをだせないでしょうか))
