床の間

[日本事物]和式住居に見られる一般的な床の間は,ほかより少し高くなっており,後ろの壁には1つから3つの掛け軸（掛け物）がかけられ,床には生けた花が飾られています.Tokonoma, a kind of decorative alcove in a Japanese‐style room, normally has such features as raised flooring, one to three hanging scrolls called kakejiku or kakemono on the back wall, and a flower arrangement on the floor.
